we did it!!!
guess what...we did it, we raised enough money to adopt a polar bear family! whoo hoo! we decided to make yesterday "happy polar bear day", we even had a celebration in its honor. we made a HUGE sign that said "happy polar bear day" & we colored polar bears to put all over it. since polar bears are from the arctic we decided to make our lunch be foods from the arctic. we made a tortiere which is a "meat pie", it was so nummy & we thought polar bears only ate seals, who knew they liked potatoes also. we also made an earth bar which had oats, brown sugar, chocolate chips & raisins. we did save the best for last,
for desert we made a "polar bear cake"- we baked a cake and frosted it white & then we stuck polar bears in it that we had made ( it looked like a polar bear family on an ice cap... awesome),it tasted as good as it looked. we so need to open a restaurant,
we are grrrreat lil chefs!!! after the celebration we made a really, really important phone call to the world wildlife to let them know we raised enough money to adopt & save a polar bear family. they were very nice on the phone & we all got to talk to them, they were very impressed with everything we did to adopt the polar bears. in a few weeks we'll get a packet that tells us about our polar bears & has a certificate with our names on it, how cool is that!!! again we just want to say thank you to o
ur family for supporting us on our very important mission.
