How Many Oranges????

Ashley arranged for a "field trip" to HEB!  When she got there she couldn't resist the beautiful oranges she saw.  She said she wanted to buy some to make orange juice for the class.

"How many oranges do we need?"

We talked to the class about it, and we all agreed on the number 15!  This was a great math lesson for us.  We all practiced writing our 5's on the chalk board, being extra careful not to make it backwards ;0)  And we talked a lot about the difference between 15 and 51.

And we are so proud of our 15's so we requested a picture with the number!

Then it was time for some muscle power, and we got juicing............

In the end, we wanted to add some sparkling water, like our neighboring class added to their "honey lemonade".

And in the end we had a very refreshing orange beverage!
