We had a very exciting project pop up around Valentines Day. In class two of our girls started singing and dancing for Mrs. Nikou. They decided that they were going to create a band and perform for Little Wonders during the Valentines Day Party. They added another member to the band and as a group came up with the name The Three Princesses. They created a poster to let everyone know that they were going to perform for the school. They wrote their band’s name, the schedule for the performance (including the order in which each dance would be performed), and each band member’s name.
They started practicing their performance in front of some of the younger classes. They quickly realized that had to constantly improve their performance in order to keep the class' attention. They especially learned that fighting did not solve their problems, team work did!
While the classes were watching the performance, three of the boys in the same class decided that they were going to create their own band! Mrs. Nikou told them they had to work just as hard as The Three Princesses did in order to perform in front of the school also. The boys came up with the band name The Jonas Brothers and created a great performance!
During the Valentines Day Party both bands performed and their hard work paied off... the audience LOVED it!
