Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

two solar systems

The new children in the class LOVE the planets hanging from our ceiling!  They started asking questions, so we looked in our astronomy books to learn more about them......Some of the children wanted to make planets like the ones we have, so they started drawing each one.  They hung them from strings and spelled the names of the planets.
Now that we are all done, we hung them from a "brown rocket ship" (brown, cardboard tube) and put them in our room, hanging from the ceiling!
Now we have two solar systems in our class!

OPERATION - "GUATEMALA BRACELETS"!

we are on a mission!  we are making bracelets for the children living in the village, that Ella's dad is going to help build a well for!  the children are working hard everyday making these beautiful pieces of jewelry....BUT!!!!  we are not just making bracelets, we are writing our names ..........

some of us prefer to draw a picture of ourselves instead of writing our names ;0) ............
and then we count how many beads we put on each bracelet, and write the number next to our name!  who would have thought that so much math could be involved in making jewelry!

from the skeleton to the sea

Remember our skeleton project hanging in the hallway?  Well, we have moved from the skeleton, to sharks, and now to the sea!  As we studied skeletons, we discovered that sharks only have their jaws as a bone, the rest is cartilage.  And as we learned more about sharks, it led us to investigate the sea!
We have been reading several books and drawing the sea animals that we learn about.
Here is our beautiful art piece of the sea!  It is now hanging in our room.  If you look closely you will see..

fish, octopus
turtles, starfish
sharksand Nemo!

some of us even drew different types of coral

There is so much more to see of this project.  It is now hanging in the hallway for all to see!  We can't wait to see where this project is heading!
