The new children in the class LOVE the planets hanging from our ceiling! They started asking questions, so we looked in our astronomy books to learn more about them......
Some of the children wanted to make planets like the ones we have, so they started drawing each one. They hung them from strings and spelled the names of the planets.
Now that we are all done, we hung them from a "brown rocket ship" (brown, cardboard tube) and put them in our room, hanging from the ceiling! Now we have two solar systems in our class!
