Thanks to Dimitrios and his mom, we have had some beautiful pieces of nature in our class.
We are using them for still art. We look at the shapes we see in the persimmons, we count them, we talk about the shades of the colors, and then we make our art.............

We also have a pink plate full of gourds, we used the same approach to create art pieces.
Ashley cut out a big piece of pink paper for the plate, and then drew each gourd, painted them, and then glued them on the plate to make her art piece.................
Jae drew everything in pencil, and then used water color to paint his picture................
Faraz used markers to make his plate of gourds..............
