Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Preparations For The Fall Festival!

The time has arrived again for the FALL FESTIVAL! We have began preparing for it and getting our special costumes ready! The above picture is all the different things Bishop has brought in to make his Blue Ranger costume! If you haven't already brought in your child's fabric and materials for their costume please bring it in as soon as you can, the children are ready to start creating their very own outfits! ;o)

The children have began by drawing an image of a character, animal etc. that they would like to be. They are drawing their picture in full detail using all the colors they want in it. They are also creating things like lasers, belts, capes and masks on their pictures. After they are done with the picture, we are writing about our pictures underneath and their measurements!

Hendrix is going to be a black ninja with a green sword, belt and shoes.

Kylie is going to be a princess using the colors red, purple and pink.

Princess Jasmine By: Camille
Tiger with Black Stripes By: Musa

Blue Ranger-By: Bishop

These are just a few of the pictures the students have created. If you haven't had a chance to see your child's drawing to see what colors and things they would like to use to create their costume. Please feel free to come in and ask Ms.Ambreen or Ms.Jojo!

Bishop has started off by measuring his waist all the way around to see how long his belt will be. He showed us how wide he would like to make his belt. After he decided that he began cutting out his two belts he wanted! This is a little bit of a preview of how the costumes are being started.
The students can't wait to show everyone how their costumes will turn out! This is an exciting month! :o)
