Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Dinosaur Project

Today, the children were interested in "plant eaters" and "meat eaters". We talked about what the difference in the two are, and we are starting to use the terms - HERBIVORE & CARNIVORE.

We got out our books to look at the different dinosaurs. The children picked dinosaurs out of a box and made them out of a special "salt play dough" that we made in class!

We put our dinosaurs to bake for one hour so they could harden. Once they were done, we painted them.

Look at how BEAUTIFUL our dinosaurs are!

We are now working on making drawings to describe what our dinosaurs eat, and what type of habitat they live in. As we finish them, we sit together as a class, to hear the "artist's interpretation" of his/her piece. We love to hear what each other has to say! Maryam is writing down our words so that they can be on display with our art!

We spelled dinosaur together, and we all worked on writing the letters that make up the word!
