Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Dinosaurs

Okay, one group of boys has taken the dinosaur subject and ran with it!

Today they started talking, and CJ said, "Guys, I am gonna teach you about dinosaurs"..........."One day a rock was falling down to Earth. Long necks were eating grass. The grass caught on fire from the rock, so the long necks caught on fire too! They were trying to eat grass that had fire on it. Then all the dinosaurs died and they were gone!"
He drew a picture to show his explanation.
Dimitrios said, "Well, also a volcano exploded when a rock came and hit the Earth!"
Both boys had SO much to say, and it looks like we will spend the next couple of days investigating both theories ;0)
While they worked on this project they counted 16 dinosaurs, practiced writing 1 - 16, spelled words about dinosaurs, and drew their favorite ones.
We are doing so much learning, and having fun at the same! Updates on this project will be posed as we do them..............stay tuned!
