we looked in the refrigerator and in the pantry to make sure we had "their special 3 ingredients", which we did! And so they go to work! We asked Mateo how many raisins he needed, and he said, "Well I have to count the kids in my class!" All of the children lined up for him!
We counted 21 kids! He made sure he had 21 raisins! All of his friends helped in writing the numbers the right way!
Have no fear!!! Our children don't give up! Mateo went home and talked to his mom about his recipe! He came to school the next day with a list of milk, flour, eggs, and baking soda! We found a recipe with those ingredients, and we went to work!
We made our new list of ingredients! I think we are ready to make our own cook book, what do you think? ;0)
Ricky made sure everyone knew what letter spelled what part of each word! We were amazed at his memory today! He remembered the names and how much the measurements were of each ingredient!
After they were baked in the oven, Mateo and his cooking partners gave a presentation telling the class of what the used to bake the cookies. He passed them out and it was a success! Everyone loved the way the Tasty Eating Cookies tasted!
Tomorrow we are going to try part two................Tasty Eating Cookies with Raisins! MMMmmmmm
