Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Our Field Trip To The Museum Of Natural Science!

We had so much fun when we went out our Field trip to the Museum of Natural Science.  The museum welcomed our class to join them and learn more about frogs.  This helped reinforce all of the knowledge we have already learned from our "frog project".  We were able to come on a day where the frogs were fed and cleaned, they took some of the frogs out of the tanks for us to see, and we even got to see the pirhanas getting fed!
We had a special teacher come in and teach us many cool facts about frogs. We loved seeing the many different kinds of toads and frogs!
This friend of ours kept having accidents, so we had to jump back and be very careful. ;-)
We went in a classroom where we all sat and did activities to help us learn more about the life cycle of a frog. We even got to see a real life cycle!  Each stage of the life cycle was preserved, it was so neat to see the tiniest eggs and tadpole!
After talking about it,we all got our own frog packet where we played a game to go through each step of the life cycle to see if we could remember and put all the pieces together to make an adult frog!
so much fun :)
We saw the bone structure of a frog....
After learning so much about frogs, we got a chance to lay down in the dome where it was dark and watch a movie over the ceiling, we loved this part. It was so cool and relaxing...

As our trip was coming to an end, we took some time to explore all the of the activities on the second floor.  We were even brought in with the staff to see them preparing fossils of dinosaurs for display.

Last but not least was the Dig Pit! We all worked very hard to uncover the fossils and dinosaur!
Our teachers even joined in to help us!

What a great day and field trip it was!
